Does Dreamhost offer promotion renewal codes for customers who wish to re – register and renew at a discount?

Dreamhost review sites offer a discount code and coupon promotion of almost every description. I am a returning customer and need to renew my web hosting. My free domain is also coming up for renewal. Does Dreamhost offer discount vouchers for customers renewing their hosting service, and does this include a free domain renewal too? If not is there a dreamhost alternative?

Some have stated that 'opening a new account, you are not complying with DreamHost's Terms of Service and may get your account suspended.' Obviously Dreamhost can charge these promotional prices and still make a profit, the hope is that customers simply renew at the normal rate without question. The good news is that the terms of service state that a customer can only have one hosting plan at a time. So as long as you close your existing plan, or wait until it has expired, you can open a new account.
